Cucumber harvest

Last Tuesday, July 10th cucumbers were harvested in order to carry out the physio-chemical, nutritional and mineral tests of the produce grown on the different plastics. This analysis is done using the commercial grade cucumbers, which are pictured in the crates.

Cucumbers are harvested approximately every 4 days to collect them at their optimal maturity stage (neither too small or excessively large-over mature)
