UNIZAR students tour the EEAD-CSIC's facilities

On February 23rd of 2016, a few more than 15 students from the graduate programme of Food Science and Technology in the Veterinary School of the University of Zaragoza visited the EEAD-CSIC’s experimental station. During this educational visit, students were given a guided tour by Jesús Val through the EEAD’s laboratories, crop development plots and the experimental areas that are currently being used as part of the Multibiosol project. Jesús Val explained the main objectives and actions implemented during the project’s duration, and gave students further contact information to keep up with recent findings and future results. The tour was an important part of the partner’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of biodegradable plastic use in agriculture, especially towards a younger audience of stakeholders that will soon inherit the current generation’s practices.
